Role Overview

As an English Teacher at PALA, you will be an inspiring mentor helping learners from primary to high school develop their language skills and confidence. You will be responsible for designing and delivering dynamic lessons, closely monitoring student progress, and collaborating with the academic team to continuously enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lessons aligned with the PALA curriculum, adapting methods to suit different age groups and proficiency levels.
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages interaction and critical thinking among students.
  • Assess student abilities and track progress, providing constructive feedback to both learners and parents.
  • Collaborate closely with other teachers and the academic department to develop materials and improve the curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development training sessions and center-organized events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications

  • University degree in English Language Teaching, English Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent English proficiency (equivalent to IELTS 7.0+), with clear pronunciation.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • A positive attitude, a high sense of responsibility, and a passion for teaching children and teenagers.
  • Candidates with TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification and experience in Cambridge/IELTS test preparation are preferred.
